January 23rd, 2006 at 10:29 am

Thanks
January 23rd, 2006 at 10:41 am
the character Kate WAS from Canada!
she states that in her first flashback!
January 23rd, 2006 at 12:58 pm
@ralph, in what episode did she say that? Just curious because I will go back and check.
Great podcast btw, more Jay and Jack the better!

It was the Third Episode of the first season.
i belive it was titled Tabula Rasa!
i just watched that recently, and when she said she was originally from canada i was very glad. because every once and a while you hear Evangaline Lily’s canadian accent come through. especially when she says “Sorry”

Hey guys! Love the podcast! i called today with my first ever podcast comment, and it’s all the way from Manchester UK too. It was about the whisper transcripts, and Carlton mentioning a “magnetic forcefield”. Anyway, if you’re planning on using it maybe I should call again, or record and send an mp3 maybe, because I probably sounded pretty stupid.
Keep up the good work! Glad to see you using the enhanced podcasts now, though I don’t have a photo/video ipod I check through the pictures using the album art in itunes. Very useful for discussion topics and highlighting key topics.

hi guys in terms of costs, is there a preference from you guys from where i download the file to listen to? this site or the other one?
cheers
January 24th, 2006 at 5:58 am
As long as its from one of the feeds on this site. The new AAC, or the new MP3, any of those are fine.
Its the old mp3 feed from audioblog that we are trying to get everybody off of because their pricing is outrageous.
January 24th, 2006 at 8:15 am
guys i used to download mp3 files off the old site, im a little confused i downloaded that beast mp4 extension file and my winamp wont play it
HEEL HEEEEEELP HEEEEEEEEEEEELP HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP

just wanted to say thankyou, im from the UK and a few months ago i watched series 1 of lost from a dvd boxset in 3 days. I then grabbed a couple of series 2 that were floating over the net. Since then im restricted to one episode a week, i dont think i could handle my addiction without you
thank you jay and jack

Hey guys, love your show!
TMJ is a medical abbreviation for Temporo-Mandibular Joint- it’s that joint where your jaw connects to your skull. TMJ pain is VERY painful–you can get it from clenching your teeth too much and from stress (I had to get medical treatment for it once when I was getting headaches during a quarter of Algebra).
Jay, not sure what that listener meant by giving you that nickname–maybe she was implying you make her feel stressed out? But I disagree, I think you guys are great fun, and love listening to you both.
January 25th, 2006 at 4:06 pm
jay and or jack
do you guys get nervous before doing one of your shows, or is it totally comfortable? is there a lot of editing? or is it a one shot deal?
January 25th, 2006 at 5:16 pm
Well I’ve been recording in studios for a while, and I love recording in the studio its probably my favorite part of creating music.
So we are pretty laid back when we record.
As far as how we record, I record the show the same way I record music. I edit as we go along. If we mess up or something we just go back to a point and record it again, but we only go back if we really mess up. So it gives it a more live feel which is good for our show. Plus I dont have to spend a lot of time after recording on editing the show.
Hope that answered your question
Jay

So how come nobody did the “5″ for Jack? I was looking forward to that…
January 25th, 2006 at 7:10 pm
Actually we forgot, we’ll do it next time we promise
January 25th, 2006 at 7:26 pm

January 25th, 2006 at 10:54 pm
what the hell was up with Locke?
is it just me or did he pull a 180?
January 25th, 2006 at 11:55 pm
Jay,
sorry, I am ignorant, I don’t know what all of the abbreviations you have here mean. I listen to you on the computer. Does this cost you money? I think we have iTunes on the computer, is there something else I am supposed to be doing?
January 26th, 2006 at 6:32 am
Well it cost us money anyway, but our new feed weather it be the aac, or mp3 is a lot cheaper for us. So if you have iTunes look in the podcast directory and search lost, subscribe to the new feed with our new Dharma Ipod logo and unsubscribe to the old one (with the teal greenish logo)
It would help us out a lot finacially if we could get everyone to switch, and if i could make it easier than that I would but Audioblog (our old service) is giving us a real hard time with it.
