well i said it before, and i’ll say it again.
Welcome to the Lost Fan Podcast Listener family Ryan and Jen!
that music was awesome jay.

“we have all the time in the world”

Great podcast, as always. Totally awesome music! My husband is a lead guitarist and I can appreciate the work that went into the instrumental. I can’t wait to play it for him when he comes home tonight.
I loved the “Zeke the friendly Hillbilly” song! I have always been an avid PP&M fan. They were the first concert I ever went to. At one time I had all their records (any one remember records, lol?)
I love the parady you made. You really are brilliant - you can’t try to fool us anymore. The music and the vocals were really great! If this is what your voice sounds like when you have a cold, it must be really really awesome when you don’t have a cold. I would love it if you would make a tape of just the song and release it over itunes or Limewire. I would love a copy of it in my music collection.
I think you should send this song to TPTB on Lost. I bet they’d use it (wonder what they’d pay? do I get a commission for suggesting it? )
Great work, guys, And I second Ralph’s welcoming Ryan and Jen to the Lost Podcast Listener family.

w000t! Great Thursday Podcast. Loved the commercial. And the ending instrumental was sweet!
And sorry for piggybacking on Jack’s cracpot theory from a while ago (about Jack operating on Locke and recognizing him on the plane) Had totally forgotten about that. Luckily i added the plastic surgery, or it would have been a complete rip off
Greetz and do keep up the great podcast (it’s not average :p)

I’d like to take this time to thank the Academy and mostly Jay and Jack for being presented with the Listener Theory of the Week Award. I have to admit though that much like Christine Lahti at the Golden Globes - I was in the bathroom when I first heard. Sorry for being so long-winded.
I am going to take my 1,000 gold flakey stars and donate them to a worthy charity - LOSTaholics Anonymous to help those helpless LOST fanatics who have developed any number of physical maladies because of their relentless search for clues - increasingly bad eyesight and wrist pain from the constant playing with their DVR remotes doing screen captures.
So - thank you once again.
P.S. I do know how to play the bass correctly - even while drinking Gin and Diet Coke while watching Charlie-centric episodes. I can’t wait until the next Lock-centric episode - I usually sit on the couch drinking gin and Diet Coke and shave my face with a huge hunting knife.

yeah, Jay seems to be very good with the guitar…
February 4th, 2006 at 6:58 am
Haha im so dissappointed in handsome jack. He referred to jay “watching” the oregon trail! That is such a classic game i played all of the time in middle school. I cant beleive Jack hasnt heard of it.
February 4th, 2006 at 6:59 am
I want people to know how many people are in agreement that jack should lose a talley point because of that oregon trail comment.
February 4th, 2006 at 7:48 am
Well Jacks an Old man, I think the oldtimers syndrome is starting to kick in.

Great show. The music was great. “Zeke the Friendly Seabilly” has been stuck in my head ever since I heard that show.
And the Oregon Trail was awesome. Classic.
“HANDSOME JACK has scurvy.”
“CHARLIE falls off the back of the wagon.”
I miss that game.
February 4th, 2006 at 10:32 am
Remember when you would hunt the buffalo? man i forgot about the scurvy.
Jay, that was a great ending and tribute to the transmission, you put on a great show, its very classy and hillarious at the same time.
One question, were you the satan caller on the scott and steve show?
Also, what if all of the survivors have twins, twins seem to be a recurring them, and if the surviors are part of the dharma projects, maybe they all are subjects and have twins that they do not know about.
February 4th, 2006 at 10:47 am
~your wagon broke an axle, lose three days~
February 4th, 2006 at 12:12 pm
No I wasn’t the Satan Caller on Scott and Steve, I wish I could take credit for it but I cant.
Man I hated it when my axel broke, I would always be cheap and be the Banker, the game was a lot easier and I could by a lot of amo.
February 4th, 2006 at 12:22 pm
hahah man that would be great if they show the survivors playing that on the computer in the bunker(not hatch).
February 4th, 2006 at 12:31 pm
i wonder if you can play oregon trail on an apple II
February 4th, 2006 at 1:34 pm
i am sure you can.
Jay. you should download an oregon trail emulator for jack to play, while you play the calls, seeing how he never wears his headphones
February 4th, 2006 at 1:35 pm
oh, and i forgot to mention this…..
BURN!
February 4th, 2006 at 1:42 pm
I only take my headphones off when Jay’s talking.
February 4th, 2006 at 1:54 pm
you guys should totally do a video podcast. that way we can see you take off your sweater, and watch jay put your headphones on , and all the other wackey antics!
love the show.
February 4th, 2006 at 2:04 pm

You actually can play the Oregan Trail on the Apple II. I used to have a ROM of the Apple II version on my old computer. Its basically like all the other versions, except you had to use the keypad to hunt with a little stick man carrying a gun on screen, since they didn’t have a mouse on it.
It would be hilarious if they were playing that in the hatch.
Locke: “Jack, you do it. It has to be you.”
Jack: “Look, if you want to hunt the buffalo, you do it yourself.”
Locke: “Its at least a two person job, since everyone else died in the winter.”
Sayid: “This argument is irrelivent.”
Locke: “Why do you find it so hard to play the Oregon Trail?”
Jack: “Why do you find it so easy?”
Locke: “ITS NEVER BEEN EASY! I can’t do this alone, Jack…I don’t want to.”
Jack: “*pushes button*…dammit, I could only carry back 200 pounds after shooting 2300.”
This is proof I have way too much time on my hands.
February 4th, 2006 at 5:12 pm
Jack i think you said once, but who are you for in the super bowl?
February 4th, 2006 at 5:39 pm
If Pittsburgh can stop Shaun Alexander they will win by for points. If they can’t, they will lose by 14.
Don’t bet on it, i’m wrong more than i’m right.
February 4th, 2006 at 8:26 pm
Sorry four not for.
February 5th, 2006 at 3:25 pm
If pitt wins by four i say you get a talley point.
February 5th, 2006 at 7:26 pm
No Tally point for Jack!
February 9th, 2006 at 1:22 am
