February 13th, 2006 at 10:27 am
Yes - a JACK song, Jack song, Jack song.
February 13th, 2006 at 11:54 am
Hey I loved Jack’s big crackpot theory
108 flakey gold stars!

Hey guys. I had a problem with the MP3 feed.
See, I downloaded it from the standard MP3 feed off iTunes, and transfered it to my iPod. However, some of the show seems to be cut off. The file was only 53 minutes on my iPod and it cut off in the middle of a theory you guys were reading. To add to the bad luck, the theory it happened to cut off in the middle of was mine. How about that?
Anyway, just wanted to bring that to you guys’ attention. Hope you fix it soon so I can finish listening to the episode.

And I couldn’t seem to get it off the backup feed at all.
February 13th, 2006 at 3:19 pm
On all of my computers, the MP3 downloaded completely, and it is working on my ipod. Has anyone else had this problem?
Jay

Huh, maybe my iTunes just got interupted or something. I found it on the back up feed(sorry I said it wasn’t there, that was a mistake on my part), so I’ll download it there, see if that works.

I bet its that darn Audioblog…..I’ll get you Audioblog if its the last thing I do!!!

Thanks for including my clip in show. It was a little weird to hear my name on the radio but fun too.

Hey Jay and Jack,
I love your show - you guys are too funny!!!! I am at work and tried to vote for the spoiler host but of course my work computer does not allow that access
I will try to remember to do it a home tonight but I would love for James to be the host. His voice is awesome and very likeable. Plus he kept his spoiler very infomative as well. Thanks for such a wonderful show to listen to.
February 14th, 2006 at 5:58 am
Hey guys. Good show but I don’t think you should have included actual spoilers in the pick a spoiler person segment, because people without the aac feed won’t know where the spoilers end! Plus, i think that that last one was only in mono, not stereo. Anyway, can’t wait to see what happens next week and hear you guys talking about it.

I may have had the same problem as Corey. Was the show supposed to end abruptly right after Jack’s Crackpot Theory? My file is 59 minutes and 30 seconds long.

Here’s another Tom Cruise movie where he has problems with his dad. Rain Man.
February 14th, 2006 at 9:36 am
Great show and off the topic, but here goes.
Other Tom Cruise movies with daddy issues:
For Sure…
Magnolia (told people his dad was dead, although they were estranged)
Vanilla Sky (his father was the publishing king of new york, left him the keys to the empire)
-The ?dunno? list
Cocktail
Jerry McGwire
Taps (but would make sense, military school)
A Few Good Men (I think his dad was a soldier and he was just a navy lawyer)
Rain Man (Would make sense, they hid his autistic brother from him)
The Outsiders (Didn’t they all have parental issues? come on Pony-Boy!)

Hey Barb B - are you in Australia?
February 14th, 2006 at 1:58 pm
Maybe theres just something wrong with the file when you download it through iTunes. If you just download it through your web browser by going here:

It comes out just fine. I’m not sure why iTunes is being retarded though. I blame Audioblog. I wouldn’t be too surprised if Audioblog was conspiring with Nazis as well.
When does the evil end?!
February 14th, 2006 at 2:03 pm
Oh, and on a different topic, I also think think the Five should be extended. Its pretty fun for everyone. Except Jack. lol.
And hearing Jack’s song should be fun too. I can’t wait to see what he does for it.
February 14th, 2006 at 2:49 pm
OMG Jay….. you better be careful - James has a very nice sexy voice too!!!!!
February 14th, 2006 at 4:37 pm
Oh..well I guess we are going to have to throw James out of the race now.
Jay

In reference to Jim’s bashing of my dear Cranky Jack:
From Wikipedia
Plot Confusion: Strangely enough, Sayid told Rousseau that the woman he loved with was dead because of him, seemingly referring to Nadia. However later in the season it was learned that Sayid knew Nadia was alive and living in Los Angeles, and that was the reason he was on Oceanic Flight 815 in the first place.
So Nadia’s whereabouts are still out there in the open.

Great ending, Top Gun has the best soundtack.. Although Rusty’s guitar solo was pretty good.
February 15th, 2006 at 10:53 am
hey Jay!
Caddy Shack next?
I’m alright, don’t need to worry ’bout me!
February 15th, 2006 at 11:51 am
Yes, in episode 9, Solitary, of first season, Sayid tells Rousseau that Nadia is dead. This is the exact conversation:
Sayid
I left them.
Rousseau
Why?
Sayid
There was. I did something, something I’m ashamed of.
Rousseau
But Nadia. You left her too?
Sayid
She wasn’t on the plane. She’s dead. Because of me.
Rousseau
I’m so sorry. I want to show you something.
That seems very clear and obvious. I have gotten tired of listening to all these podcasts and reading all these forums and having no one realize that he said this. I have been waiting for the episode with Sayid’s backstory that would explain why he thought she was dead. There must have been something that happened in that last day that if he got there in the next day she could be saved, if not, then the government would get her. The only reason I say this is because there was a deleted scene about Sayid buying a tie for Nadia when he meets her. The other thought is that they deleted this scene for a reason (rewrites). Anyway, just a thought, nevermind the clunkiness of it.
February 15th, 2006 at 5:00 pm
Criminey - Sayid said that Nadia was dead beacuse he didn’t want Rousseau to have something to hold over him - he is an experienced interrogator. Nadia is alive - Nadia is really his reason for living - Shannon aside - Shannon happened because he “knew” he would never find Nadia - he had given up hope after the crash - but I think there is some part of him that still wants to find her. I mean why would he be buying a tie to wear for her if he knew she was dead???????
Nuff said
February 15th, 2006 at 6:46 pm
i don belive that sayid would start doing the hibbidy-dibbity with shannon, if he new that nadia was still out there

Ok, maybe I am just so much a newbie that I am …lost..but how do I vote in the poll on picking the spoiler announcer? Is there a link I am missing? Do I just send an email? Do I jusdt make a comment in the forums?
Help.
Thanks
