I would like to note…
being “unstuck in time” is more taken from Kurt Vonnegut. They’re not flash backs as much as changes in reality.
Slaughter house 5, same term… “unstuck in time”.

About the Tsunami, Ausiello (who is used as a spoilersource on like Darkufo) said:
“… (spoiler) in Episode 8 is guaranteed to, ahem, make waves.”
Well, I certainly thought right away that was a hint about the tsunami. And episode 8 could well occur in two days on the show, so that seems to fit too. I’m very curious.
Maibe that’s why the Black Rock is so deep inland: It flashforwarded and a wave carries it, and because of the relativity of time, it’s already there in the past.
