The LOST Podcast with Jay and Jack, a podcast dedicated to the show LOST on ABC.

OK the contest has begun. Here you will find a word document with 50 questions. Each questions answer is worth a certain number of points. Either 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42, and 108. Some are yes or no questions (different point values depending on answer), and some are direct answers were you must say who or what you think the correct answer is. All of the questions pertain to Season 3, meaning that each event in the question has to occur in this upcoming season.

Once you have decided your answers send an email to lpcontest@gmail.com with your answers. All we need is the number of the question and your answer 1-50. You will have until Oct. 4th at 9:00pm Eastern Time to turn in your answers.

After the season finale we will tally up the points and whoever has the most points will win the contest. The prizes are not set yet, but we already have a box set of the new LOST Revelations cards given to us by Inkworks.

So get started, and make sure you send it to the lpcontest@gmail.com address. If you dont it wont count, so make sure Also if you have any questions please leave them in the Comments section of this post.

Hey everybody thanks to your nominations The Lost Podcast was nominated for both Categories that we were going for in the Annual Podcast Awards We’ve gotten this far lets go all the way, if we can get Jack’s Karma up from -5,000 we can do this!

Voting starts tomorrow and we are going up against some great podcasts. We are going to need all the voting we can get. It is not going to be easy but we can do it. Get your Mom, your friend, and your dog to vote as much as you can.

Its not just Jack and I that are nominated. It is everyone else that has listened, posted, called, emailed, made an animation, logo, segment. This is everyone’s nomintation, because everyone makes The Lost Podcast something special.

Voting Process

Voting is going to last 15 days and in all circumstances will end at 2359 HST on the published last day of voting.

Each Person / IP will be allowed to vote once a day in each category.

All voting will be done from the podcastawards.com website no offsite voting scripts.

No Third Party voting applications

We have expended considerable amount of money to insure a fair voting process. Certain security measures are in place, should a site or individual try to circumvent the on-site voting, or use an application to automate the voting we will invalidate votes that are detected or trends show them to be fraudulent.

100% e-mail verification of all votes will take place, failure to click on a vote will result in no vote being placed.

Hey everyone just checking in, working on getting the clips together for our comic con vidcast.

Jack asked his question, and i asked one too. Its funny that both of our questions are on youtube already. I hope to have the vidcast up by tomorrow night.

Another cool thing that happend, that we had to keep a secret, was….. That Jorge Garcia asked us to meet up and have dinner and hang out with him on saturday after the con. He was the nicest guy, and Jack and I were totally just enjoying the moment.

Thanks to everyone that came to the meeting it was awesome to put the faces and voices to people on the boards, and peope that listen to the show. Jack and I will definitly be there next year

Well the second annual Podcast Awards are getting underway, and Jack and I would like to try and make a run for it. It is a peoples choice awards so it is up to you the listener to nominate, and vote for your favorite shows.

The nomination process just began today. You can nominate in each category once a day. Since there is no T.V. category I guess we are going to go for the Entertainment, and Peoples Choice categories. These categories are going to be tough but I know with your help we can maybe make a run for it

We have had a lot of people ask were is the podcast this week? We we said it on the season finale podcast but I guess some people missed it So we are taking this week off (first time we have ever taken a week off).

During our week off we are recording our Favorite LOST Episode commentaries, because Jack and I are going to be in California for a week. Then i will be in Ohio for the rest of the second week. During the two weeks I will post the 4 episodes. Once i get back Jack and I will try to premiere “RambleCast” and dont worry we will give you guys a heads up to give your feed back for the first RambleCast episode.

So hopefully that cleared up the confusion Sorry for those who wanted an episode this week, but this way you will only have a week with no new show and not two weeks.
